Mountain Aviation is seeking a full-time Desktop Support Technician.  This is a great starting position in the company in that you will see, touch, and feel many aspects of the entire corporation. The desired schedule will be Monday through Friday 8am-5pm and on-call as needed.  
 

Position Summary

The Desktop Support Technician will perform a host of duties in support of end users for IT hardware and/or software.  Under general supervision, you support deployments, removals, installs and some break fix for laptops, desktops, printers, and iPads.  You will also interact with employees on a daily basis so you must be customer service oriented.  Starting pay is $15-$20/hour depending on experience. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Install and configure network devices (printers, scanners, PCs, etc); troubleshoot problems with network printing and scanning devices.
  • Repair and replace data connectors on network cables and data drops.
  • Assist in the relocation of customer employees within the facility (move PCs and activate data in new location).  Troubleshoot network issues with PCs and LAN.
  • Assist with imaging of laptops and PCs for deployment

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in basic technical hardware repair, component level knowledge, operation system/application knowledge, troubleshooting.
  • Experience in setting up and configuring PCs and mobile devices.
  • Desktop support experience
  • Active Directory

Work Conditions:

  • Work is performed in an office setting with prolonged periods of sedentary activity

Physical Requirements

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
